Welcome to the Golden Fiddles website. I am Bettina Yost, the founder and owner of Golden Fiddles. My studio provides violin lessons to individuals of all ages and experience levels. Currently, the Golden Fiddles Studio includes students ranging from 3 to 74 years in age! We serve those with an interest in private instruction from Chapel Hill throughout the Research Triangle Park area. Music has always been a very important part of my own life, and I aim to foster a love for learning and a passion for music for all of my students as well.

I am an experienced violinist with a demonstrated history of work in the music industry. I am skilled in chamber ensemble, music theory, orchestral music, strings, and music education. I attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a Bachelor's degree with a focus in Music Performance and Music Education.  I am also the strings teacher at Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill, and provide monthly group lessons in the local area. I specialize in individual private lessons, group instruction, and performance.

I believe that music brings harmony and connects people to one another. I hope to inspire others through my love and passion for music, and to also encourage my students to share their gifts. I adapt my style of teaching to each particular individual, in order to create a fun and successful lesson environment for all students.  I very much look forward to working with you and your family!
